Full-time Schedule MondayFriday, 6:00 AM 4:00 PM Early arrival, staying late, and occasional weekends may be required Position Summary We are seeking a reliable Yard Crane/Log Loader, Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate the yard crane in our Log Yard / RWC Operations. This role is essential to maintaining production flow and ensuring equipment safety. Responsibilities Operate yard crane/log loader safely and efficiently Conduct daily pre-operation inspections (fuel, oil, grease points, hydraulic fluid, 360° walk-around) Wear appropriate PPE and work safely in all conditions Immediately report and address equipment issues Communicate with supervisors and yard crew in person, via phone, text, or email Unload logs from incoming trucks and load sawmill log deck Perform general maintenance on loaders and assist with major repairs Clean operator cabs and roundwood chip area daily Follow all safety guidelines and maintain assigned equipment in good condition Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and reliable attendance Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks: standing, walking, bending, lifting, pushing, pulling, and reaching Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain equipment properly No cell phone use while operating machinery Benefits Competitive pay Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off + holidays 401(k) with company match
