Silas White Construction, Inc. is looking to add 3 additional backhoe / trench crews with a "can do" attitude to our growing team.
Position:
Backhoe Operator Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): Drive company vehicle / trailer Haul equipment to and from jobsite Operate a backhoe / trencher / mini excavator Must be familiar with all aspects of safely excavating, product placement, and back-filling trench Assist in the exposure of existing utilities Work alongside the rest of your field team Must ensure jobsite safety Identify, assess, and control hazards Read and comprehend workprints
Requirements:
Must be eligible to work in the United States Must be able to pass background and drug screens Must have a Valid class A driver's license with clean record. Must have 3 years experience in telecommunications / utility construction Must be self motivated Must be detail oriented Must be able to work M-F and some weekends
