Underground Miner 3rd

Shift Role & Responsibilities:

Adhere to all safety/housekeeping requirements within an industrial quarry/mine setting. Operate multiple pieces of off-road heavy equipment in the process of mining gypsum. Basic troubleshooting/maintenance skills to facilitate equipment performance. Recording of production data and other results in the manner required. Expected to take an active role in all plant safety and continuous improvement initiatives as required by supervision. Adaptable to scheduling requirements including shiftwork, assignment of overtime, working weekends, etc. where applicable.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Some prior experience operating off-road equipment is preferred. Able to operate assigned mobile equipment in a safe manner. Must possess a valid driver's license. CDL a plus but not required. Ability to work independently to complete assigned tasks. Ability to troubleshoot minor issues with the equipment. Team player, good communication skills needed with all co-workers. Maintain regular and predictable attendance. Must be able to pass ATF (Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms) Employee Possessor clearance.
