Job Description
GMS Mine Repair & Maintenance, Inc. is currently hiring Entry Level and Experienced Underground Coal Miners at various locations throughout Southern Illinois. These are local & long-term opportunities with rapid advancement opportunities. Ideal candidates will possess their Underground MSHA Training or their IL First Class Papers/Black Hat. We are also considering Entry Level Candidates that are in need of training (free training provided to successful candidates that require it). Pay will fall within the listed range, and will offer very quick incremental increases over the first year of employment with GMS in the industry. To gain consideration, candidates must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. They must also be able to take and pass a preemployment background check and drug test. Candidates must be local to the area to gain consideration for these positions.
