Job Description

POSITION SUMMARY
The Utility Operator is a general laborer that covers both yard operations and all Shipping & Receiving duties for Metal Source Recycling during second shift operations.

Shipping & Receiving Manager

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Create scale house tickets and data entry. Loading, unloading and sorting of materials. Operate the car pad by loading and unloading autos and properly process the auto. Operate the buy room. Snow removal when applicable Sweep all concrete and dock area to keep walk / driveways free of debris. Performs other related duties as assigned by Shipping & Receiving Manager, as an extension of the S & R team but is not a utility person to supplement production. Regular and timely attendance are an expectation of the position. Follow the 5S foundations for deploying lean production tools and processes.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Previous heavy equipment experience required. PIT License required.
