Job Description

Sublevel Miner 1 or 2
Location:
East Boulder Mine -
McLeod, MT Schedule:
Rotating - 5x4x4x5
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Performs heading prep, blasting, and mucking duties. Determines the amount of explosives, placement, and firing of explosives. Operates underground equipment (loaders, trucks, etc). Performs other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of the company.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required :
Must meet and maintain qualifications for working with explosives per the Safe Explosives Act. Working knowledge of utilities, services, and ventilation. Must meet the minimum Task Matrix Proficiency Levels for a Sublevel Miner 2. (See Task Matrix in HR Office)
Preferred:
Mine Equipment and materials terminology and uses. Working knowledge of small hand tools. Sibanye-Stillwater is an equal opportunity employer.
