Job Description

UG Operator 1, 2, or 3
Location:
East Boulder Mine -
McLeod, MT Schedule:
Rotating - 5x4x4x5, 11.5hr shifts
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Responsible for safe delivery of muck distribution and/or supplies through the safe and proper operation of rail or rubber-tired equipment. Ability to work in a team environment for safe and productive muck handling. Perform other duties as assigned from time to time at the discretion of the company. Operate underground haulage equipment. Prioritize, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions. Clear ore and waste passes using approved blasting techniques. Able to work without direct supervision. Maintain cleanliness of work areas. Any/all other assigned tasks.
Qualifications and Skills:
Required:
Understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations. Ability to communicate and work well with fellow workers in a team environment. Understanding of and strong commitment to all health, safety, and environmental regulations Valid Driver's License.
Preferred:
Previous underground experience. Previous experience with handling, storing, and transporting explosives. Previous equipment operating experience. Sibanye-Stillwater is an equal opportunity employer.
