Job Description
What You'll Be Doing Operate scaling equipment to safely remove loose or unstable rock in underground areas. Inspect work areas to identify scaling needs and potential hazards. Maintain equipment through routine checks and basic servicing. Follow all underground safety procedures and site-specific protocols. Collaborate with the production team to support efficient and safe operations. What We Are Looking For Ability to safely operate heavy or specialized equipment in confined spaces. Strong hazard recognition skills, especially related to underground ground control. Capacity to follow technical instructions and adapt to changing conditions. Effective communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to maintaining a high standard of safety and operational discipline. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
