The Mine Operator position is a fast-paced, very demanding role that requires very close attention to detail regarding safety and operation of multiple pieces of equipment on the mine site. This position also offers the flexibility to perform additional duties within the day-to-day operation. This position is a plant-based role that requires a 7-on / 7-off work schedule.
Qualifications & Requirements:
1-3 years' experience as a utility mine operator. Comprehends documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals. Working knowledge of equipment capabilities and limitations. Must have a valid driver's license. May be required to work overtime, based on business and facility needs. Ability to understand technical instructions. Ability to understand the basic concepts of plant machinery within wet and dry applications. Ability to hatch and un-hatch fleet truck lids in a safe and effective manner. Ability to understand the safe workings of machinery, and ability to perform small maintenance tasks. General understanding of chemistry used in plant processing. Indicators & Attributes for

Primary Responsibilities:
General housekeeping duties such as, but not limited to: Shoveling Skid steer/small excavator operations Catwalk cleaning Baghouse cleaning Silo cleaning Shop cleaning

Regularly operates in a highly safety-conscious environment, outdoor and indoor. Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise. Regularly be exposed to loud machinery. Regularly operates in a wet condition.
