Fireboss / Underground Coal Miner

Underground Coal Miner / Fireboss JENNMAR Services, is seeking Firebosses for the Cameron and Dallas, WV areas. Position may help with Black Hat jobs as well.

Pay Rate:

$44.45 - $48/hr Benefits include: Health, Dental & Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with matching after 6 months

Job Responsibilities:

Examining the surface and underground work areas of the mine including airways, bleeders, and belts. Identifying hazardous conditions including roof, dust, gas, and equipment. Checking and recording gas readings in proper books. Conducting pre-shift and on shift examinations. Other duties assigned.

Position Requirements:

WV Foreman or Assistant Foreman Certification. Up-to-date annual refresher (preferred). Up-to-date WV Foreman Continuing Education (preferred) Previous experience firebossing. Valid driver's license.
