Position Overview:
AquaShine Express is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Oil Change Technician to support daily service operations. This role is responsible for executing efficient, high-quality oil change services while delivering a customer-centric experience. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, operational discipline, and a commitment to safety and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform routine oil changes, fluid checks, and basic preventive maintenance services in accordance with company standards. Inspect vehicles for additional service needs (filters, fluids, tire pressure, etc.) and communicate findings to management. Ensure timely service delivery while maintaining quality and accuracy. Follow all safety protocols, environmental guidelines, and operational procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of service bays, tools, and equipment. Deliver a professional, customer-focused experience, including greeting customers and answering basic service questions. Support team members in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Qualifications:
Prior automotive or oil change experience preferred, but not required (training provided) Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Reliable attendance and punctuality Valid driver's license preferred Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically active environment Capability to lift up to 50 pounds Comfortable working in varying weather and shop conditions
