Experience and certification is preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right individual with a strong work ethic. This is a hands-on position that includes inspections, chimney sweeping, fireplace service, minor repairs, and customer education. Responsibilities For a Certified Chimney Technician/Sweep Perform Level 1, 2 or 3 chimney inspections and preform sweeps Service gas and wood-burning fireplaces Assist with chimney repairs and installations including tuck pointing, chase cover replacements, chimney cap replacements, water sealant, etc Fireplace Upgrades Dryer Vent Sweeps Furnace Flue Sweeps Maintain company vehicle, tools, and equipment Follow safety procedures and industry standards set by CSIA Represent the company professionally at all times

Responsibilities For An Apprentice:

Assist lead technician with chimney inspections and chimney sweeping services Set up and break down tools, ladders, drop cloths, and equipment Protect customer homes by using floor coverings and maintaining a clean work area Carry materials, tools, and equipment safely to and from job sites Take photos and document conditions before, during, and after service Learn chimney, fireplace, venting, and masonry systems Assist with chimney cap installations, crown repairs, tuckpointing, liner installations, and other repair work Help clean fireplaces, smoke chambers, and chimney systems Assist with dryer vent cleaning and furnace flue services Maintain company vehicles, tools, and inventory Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA guidelines Communicate professionally with customers and answer basic questions Ideally Participate in ongoing training and work toward industry certifications Willingness to Obtain CSIA Certification Ideally Customer service Required Valid driver's license with clean driving record Ability to lift 50+ pounds Comfortable climbing ladders, boom lifts, and working on roofs Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong communication skills Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented What We Offer Paid training Advancement opportunities Performance bonuses Uniforms provided Flexible scheduling options Supportive family-oriented work environment Opportunity to earn industry certifications Why Work Here?
