401(k) Employee discounts Paid time off Field Additive Technician About the Role Cargo Correction Services, Inc. (CCS) is seeking a highly motivated Field Additive Technician to join our growing team. This position is responsible for performing fuel additive injections, cargo treatment services, chemical transfers, quality assurance activities, and related field operations at refineries, terminals, marine facilities, pipelines, and customer locations throughout the Gulf Coast and beyond. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, mechanically inclined, dependable, and capable of responding to both scheduled and emergency service requests. This is a hands-on position offering significant growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company serving the energy and petrochemical industries. Key Responsibilities Perform on-site fuel additive injections and cargo treatment services in accordance with customer specifications and CCS procedures. Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair injection pumps, hoses, meters, and related equipment. Conduct chemical transfers, product sampling, tank measurements, and quality verification activities. Accurately collect, record, and report operational data, job documentation, and field reports. Coordinate with refinery personnel, terminal operators, vessel crews, inspectors, and customers during project execution. Ensure compliance with all company, customer, OSHA, refinery, terminal, and environmental safety requirements. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of vehicles, trailers, equipment, and inventory. Assist with loading, unloading, and transportation of chemicals and equipment. Participate in emergency response and time-sensitive projects as required. Support training and mentoring of new technicians. Maintain inventory levels and communicate supply and equipment needs to management. Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to support emergency customer response operations. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Must be 21 years of age or older. Minimum 1-3 years of industrial, mechanical, chemical handling, oil & gas, marine, terminal, or field service experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot field equipment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and mobile reporting platforms. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and effectively within a team environment. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to pass background checks, drug screenings, and customer-specific site requirements. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments. Willingness to travel and work at various customer locations throughout the United States. Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours when operational demands require. Preferred Qualifications Current TWIC Card. Basic Plus / HASC / ISTC Forklift Certification. CDL Class A (not required) Experience working in refineries, terminals, marine facilities, pipelines, or petrochemical operations. Candidates should be comfortable traveling to customer locations throughout Texas, the Gulf Coast region, and other locations across the United States as needed. Work Schedule This position supports critical customer operations and requires participation in a rotating on-call schedule for emergency response services.
