Job Description
Performs maintenance functions such as repairs, assembles and disassembles iron restraint systems. Ability to rig up and rig down iron safety restraint system. Basic computer skills are preferred. Ability to communicate effectively with others is necessary. The ability to perform basic mathematical calculations involving addition, subtraction, multiplication and division is required. Basic reading comprehension and writing skills are required. Ability to work as part of a team and exercise tolerance and consistency when dealing with others. Ensure all OSHA regulated and customer specific safety training is current. Promotes safety awareness and environmental consciousness and compiles with all health, safety and environmental (HSE) regulations and guidelines. Promotes and takes an active part in the quality improvement process. Clean, disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble iron and restraint system. Load and unload equipment at facility or customer land location. Utilize forklifts and job cranes. Rig up and rig down iron safety restraint system on customer land location. Test equipment for proper operation. Must complete proper paperwork as needed. Conduct pre-job safety meetings. Conduct JSA specific to job tasks at hand. Assumes personal responsibility for ensuring the duties of their position are performed in a safe, efficient and effective manner.
