Wellsite Cementing Equipment Operator StaffMode - 5.0 Shreveport, LA Job Details Part-time $18 - $23 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications CDL A High school diploma or GED Full Job Description What your day looks like Sunrise in Shreveport, LA. You meet the crew, run through the toolbox talk, and prep the cementing units for a safe, efficient job. You stage iron, verify mix designs, confirm PPE, and align with maintenance on any overnight fixes. On location, you rig up cleanly, operate specialized cementing equipment with precision, and keep service quality tight from first barrel to final pressure test. After rig-down, you debrief with the team, log performance notes, and line up improvements for the next call-out. Where and when you work

Schedule:
Rotational, 15 days on / 6 days off
Hours:
High-activity environment, typically 80-110 hours per week
Compensation:
$20-$22 per hour What you'll own Deliver accurate, on-time job execution that meets or surpasses company and customer standards. Participate in pre-job planning, toolbox safety talks, and post-job reviews; capture lessons learned. Keep all assigned equipment inspection-ready—perform routine checks and report issues immediately. Champion safety for yourself and the crew; consistently wear required PPE and follow all HSE policies. Prepare equipment for efficient rig-up and rig-down to minimize non-productive time. Operate cementing units and related assets at the appropriate competency level per procedures. Complete and maintain all required safety training and certifications. How you'll succeed Proactively spot and implement improvements that enhance service quality and operational efficiency. Thrive in a fast-paced, field-based team environment with a strong customer focus. Communicate professionally and collaborate closely with field and maintenance teams. What you bring High school diploma or GED. At least 1 year as a skilled operator or equivalent military experience. Basic PC skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office is a plus. Class A CDL with no driving restrictions is required. Legal Candidates must be able to legally work and reside in the US/Canada, without sponsorship.
