Job Description

Overview Missaukee Oil and Gas is seeking Workover Rig and Drilling Rig crew. Majority of work is in beautiful Northern Michigan! We are currently seeking operators, derrickhand and floor-hand positions. Pay is based on experience. CDL holders and cross-training on workover and drilling rig positions preferred. Employees will be hired on an un-benefitted, full-time basis for 90 days. Once a 90-day probationary period is complete, employees will be eligible for full time benefits such as health/dental/vision insurance, 401k match, paid holidays and PTO. Missaukee Oil and Gas operates over 300 wells across northern Michigan and our rig work is done in-house. Rig crew employees report to their respective rig supervisor (workover/drilling). Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as rigs, loaders, pumps and tanker trucks to support drilling and/or workover activities Assist with drilling, completing, perforating, servicing, and stimulating oil and gas wells in Northern Michigan. Support supervision to accomplish goals and hit milestones safely and efficiently. Conduct mechanical inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Follow OSHA safety standards rigorously during all operations to maintain a safe work environment Support drilling/workover operations by preparing equipment and assisting with operation while maintaining good relationships with co-workers, landowners, investors and regulatory agencies. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, safety checks, and operational logs for project documentation Skills Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as drilling and service rigs, and tanker trucks in oil & gas environments Mechanical knowledge related to rigging, machinery maintenance, and troubleshooting equipment issues Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to construction sites and oil rigs Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety protocols and teamwork Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with tanker endorsement preferred for driving large vehicles or transporting materials Strong understanding of oil rig operations, heavy equipment operation, and construction site procedures Join us in powering progress through skilled craftsmanship, safety dedication, and a passion for the energy industry!
