Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Pitman to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy equipment and assist with pipeline installation and maintenance projects. Your mechanical knowledge and experience with construction site operations will be essential in ensuring safe, efficient, and precise work. The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to large-scale oil & gas infrastructure projects. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Duties Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, Caterpillar equipment, and water trucks to support pipeline construction activities Assist with horizontal drilling operations, ensuring alignment and safety standards are maintained throughout the process Support pipeline installation by preparing sites, handling materials, and managing equipment setup Follow OSHA safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to safety procedures Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment to ensure optimal functioning and report any issues promptly Assist with the transportation of materials using forklifts or commercial trucks such as tankers or water trucks Maintain accurate records of daily activities, equipment usage, and safety checks for project documentation Experience Previous construction site experience with a focus on pipeline projects is highly preferred Hands-on experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, Caterpillar machinery, or similar machines Mechanical aptitude with knowledge of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques and related tools is a plus Knowledge of OSHA safety standards applicable to construction sites involving heavy machinery and pipeline work Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) or ability to obtain one for operating water trucks or tankers is desirable Experience working in oil & gas environments or on tanker projects is advantageous Join us to be part of a dedicated team committed to building essential infrastructure safely and efficiently. Pay:
$620.00 - $750.00 per week
