Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Contract Pumper Lease Operator to oversee the daily operations of oil and gas production facilities on leased properties. This role involves managing equipment, ensuring safety compliance, and maintaining optimal production levels. The ideal candidate will bring a strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on experience with heavy equipment, and a passion for the oil & gas industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient operations while adhering to all safety standards and regulations. Duties Operate and monitor oil pumping units, including horizontal drilling equipment and pipeline systems, to maximize production efficiency. Conduct routine inspections of pumps, tanks, pipelines, to ensure proper functioning. Perform mechanical troubleshooting and basic repairs on pumping units, valves, gauges, and other related equipment. Maintain accurate records of production data, maintenance activities, and safety inspections. Follow OSHA standards and company safety protocols rigorously to ensure a safe working environment at all times. Assist with rigging operations and setup of heavy machinery on construction sites or operational facilities. Coordinate with construction teams for site preparation, pipeline installation, or equipment upgrades as needed. Qualifications Proven experience operating oil rigs or similar heavy equipment in an oil & gas or construction environment. Strong mechanical knowledge related to pumps, pipelines, horizontal drilling equipment, and general site machinery. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and construction site safety practices. Ability to operate rigging gear, excavators, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy machinery confidently. Valid driver's license Experience working on construction sites involving pipeline installation or maintenance projects. Knowledge of safety procedures related to oil & gas operations and heavy equipment operation.
