Job Description
Overview We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Lease Operator to join our team in the oil & gas industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operation and maintenance of oil and gas leases, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting various operational activities on-site. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with heavy equipment and contribute to the efficient extraction and transportation of resources within a dynamic construction and pipeline environment. Duties Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks in accordance with safety standards. Monitor and control oil & gas production processes on lease sites, including horizontal drilling operations. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of pipelines, wellheads, and associated mechanical systems. Assist with rigging, setup, and operation of construction equipment on-site. Support pipeline integrity checks and coordinate with construction teams to ensure smooth operations. Follow OSHA regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times. Perform commercial driving duties for transporting equipment or materials as needed. Maintain detailed records of operations, safety inspections, and equipment maintenance. Qualifications Experience operating oil rigs, heavy equipment (excavator, crane, forklift), or similar machinery within construction or oil & gas settings. Mechanical knowledge related to pipeline systems, horizontal drilling, and wellhead equipment. Familiarity with OSHA standards and safety procedures on construction sites. Prior experience in construction site operations or pipeline projects is highly desirable. Ability to perform rigging tasks safely and efficiently. Valid commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement preferred. Strong understanding of oil & gas industry practices and safety regulations. Physical ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary.
