Job Description

This position will travel to oil and gas well sites to operate and maintain oil and gas wells at the surface level.

Well Pumper:
Must be physically fit and able to climb and work at heights Ability to do physical labor for long hours in all types of weather Ability to work outside in all types of weather Ability to lift in excess of 75 pounds High School Diploma or GED Ability to pass our background check and drug screen Must have a valid driver's license and be insurable under our company policy, must be 21 years of age
Responsibilities and Duties:
Monitor the day-to-day operations of oil and gas wells. Operate timer controller that opens and closes valves manually. Manually operate valves, chokes, regulators, and dump control valve to ensure that materials are being pumped at the correct pressure, density, rate and concentration. Operate engines and pumps in order to shut off wells according to production schedules, and to switch flow of oil into storage tanks. Walk pipelines to line locate Changing gas flow charts Gauging tanks Scheduling water and oil pick up Attach pumps and hoses to wellheads. Spraying and weed trimming well sites Perform routine maintenance and repair on all well equipment: Regular attendance consistent with the Company Attendance Policy. All other duties as assigned by management.
