Job Description

South Texas | Full-Time Build a Career in the Oil & Gas Industry Launch your oilfield career with a growing South Texas company specializing in downhole tools, thru-tubing motors, and surface rental equipment. Top Notch Downhole Services is seeking a dependable, hardworking Shop Assistant to support our downhole tool, thru-tubing motor, and surface rental operations. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things right, and wants to learn the oilfield business from the ground up. You'll work alongside experienced technicians and gain exposure to equipment used in drilling, completions, and production operations throughout South Texas. What You'll Do Clean, inspect, and prepare thru-tubing motors and downhole tools for field operations Assist with equipment teardown, redress, and maintenance activities Load, unload, and stage rental equipment for customer jobs Wash, inspect, and prepare equipment returning from the field Track inventory, tools, fittings, and shop supplies Operate forklifts and shop equipment safely Assist with deliveries, pickups, and yard organization Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment Follow all company safety procedures and industry standards Preferred Qualifications Oilfield or mechanical experience preferred Basic hand tool knowledge Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to lift heavy equipment and work outdoors Reliable transportation Forklift experience is a plus Must be dependable and willing to learn What We're Looking For Team player Self-motivated Respectful attitude Ability to take direction and follow procedures Someone who takes pride in their work and wants to grow within the company Compensation & Benefits Competitive hourly pay based on experience Overtime opportunities Advancement opportunities Benefits available based on position and tenure Join Our Team If you're looking for more than just a job and want an opportunity to build a long-term career in the oilfield service industry, we'd like to hear from you.
