Essential Job Functions Rig Setup & Operation:
Assist in the safe and accurate setup of drilling rigs and all associated equipment
Drilling Support:
Operate and handle tools for drilling, installing well heads, screens, casing, gravel packs, cement grout, and other well fixtures
Maintenance:
Perform routine mechanical maintenance on rigs, mud pumps, and ancillary equipment
Equipment Handling:
Operate and fill water trucks; may drive crew trucks with trailers
Well Preparation:
Clean and disinfect wells before use
Coordination:
Work under the supervision of a Driller or Operations VP, following safety and operational plans Required Knowledge High school diploma or GED preferred. Knowledge of casing types, drill string, thread types, derricks, mud rotary drilling systems, and hydraulics preferred. Knowledge of working around machinery Clean driving record. Required Skills Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and remote areas. Physical ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs, and perform tasks like climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling Ability to travel and work flexible schedules. Bilingual skills preferred. Willingness to learn and follow instructions in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Moderate physical effort; some lifting/carrying of moderately heavy materials. Ability to work extended hours and in extreme weather Additional Requirements Pass background check and random drug/alcohol testing. Valid drivers license Typical Work Environment Outdoor, remote job sites; exposure to dust, noise, and weather extremes. Requires teamwork and adherence to safety protocols.
