In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining heavy equipment on oil rigs, pipelines, and construction sites, ensuring safe and efficient operations. Your expertise will help facilitate the extraction, transportation, and processing of oil and gas resources while adhering to strict safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your mechanical skills and operational knowledge make a real impact. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks to support drilling, pipeline installation, and maintenance activities Assist with horizontal drilling operations by setting up and rigging equipment accurately and safely Conduct routine inspections of oil rig machinery, pipeline systems, and construction sites to identify potential issues before they escalate Follow OSHA safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for all team members Support mechanical maintenance tasks by troubleshooting equipment issues and performing basic repairs as needed Coordinate with team members to ensure smooth logistics for material delivery and equipment movement on-site Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, inspections, and safety checks in compliance with industry standards Skills Proven experience operating heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tanker trucks in an oil & gas or construction environment Strong mechanical knowledge related to oil rig operations, pipeline systems, and horizontal drilling techniques Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations and best practices for construction site safety Ability to rig up and operate specialized equipment like rigging gear for lifting heavy components Knowledge of construction site procedures including site setup, safety protocols, and environmental considerations Valid commercial driver's license with tanker endorsement preferred for transporting liquids safely Experience with mechanical troubleshooting and basic repairs on oilfield machinery This role is ideal for motivated individuals eager to build a career in the oil & gas industry.
