Job Description
OBJECTIVE
The Equipment Operator drives and operates oilfield cementing equipment.ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform pre and post-trip inspections of a commercial motor vehicle
- Operate a commercial motor vehicle to and from the job site
- Clean and perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment, including checking and filling fluids, pressure washing, replacing bulbs and small parts
- Operating a bulk plant cement trailer while on job site
- Completing all regulatory and company compliance paperwork - DOT Logs, Trip Sheets, Observation Cards
- Assist in rig-up and rig-down - carrying hoses (up to 75 lbs.), hammering unions together using 4 lb. hammer, climbing stairs and ladders (rig floor, pump truck operating platforms)
- Assist in running other equipment such as air compressors, trailers, boost pump trailers, filed bins, etc.
EXPERIENCE
- Class A CDL (Air Brake, Tanker and HazMat endorsements preferred but not required)
- High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent
- Basic knowledge of rig operations
- Working knowledge of high pressure pumping equipment, recirculating mixes and pneumatic bulk equipment preferred
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, fellow employees and 3rd party vendors
