Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic construction team as an Equipment Operator and play a vital role in building infrastructure and executing large-scale projects. In this energetic position, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery and construction equipment to ensure efficient, safe, and precise project execution. Your mechanical expertise and hands-on experience will help drive our projects forward while maintaining the highest safety standards. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your skills to make a tangible impact on community development. Duties Operate modern heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, skid steer, and other machinery to perform earthmoving, grading, lifting, and material handling tasks. Assist with site preparation by leveling ground, excavating, and moving materials efficiently. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance; perform basic maintenance or report issues promptly. Support the transportation of construction materials and machinery across sites using appropriate commercial driving skills. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites; familiarity with backhoes, excavators, skid steer, and related machinery is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience preferred. Construction site experience demonstrating knowledge of safety procedures and operational best practices. Physical stamina to work outdoors in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy loads safely is required.
