Pay based during interivew Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site. Your expertise will help drive project success from groundwork to finishing touches, contributing to the development of infrastructure and commercial properties. Duties Operate heavy machinery including bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other construction equipment with precision and safety. Manage various types of trucks such as dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, front loader trucks, and tanker trucks to transport materials and equipment across the site. Assist in site preparation by grading, leveling, excavating, and moving earth or materials as required for construction phases. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are maintained. Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate equipment usage and ensure timely completion of tasks. Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to heavy machinery operation and construction site procedures. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery in a construction environment. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues and perform basic maintenance on equipment. Prior experience working on construction sites with familiarity in site layout, earthmoving techniques, and safety practices. Knowledge of construction materials and processes related to concrete mixing, earthmoving, and site development. Ability to read technical manuals and operate machinery from brands such as Caterpillar or similar manufacturers confidently.

Pay:

$15.00 - $20.00 per hour
