Overview Join our dynamic construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and play a vital role in building infrastructure, commercial projects, and large-scale developments. This energetic position offers the opportunity to operate a variety of heavy machinery, ensuring efficient progress on-site while maintaining safety and precision. Duties Operate a wide range of heavy equipment including bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and dump trucks to facilitate construction activities. Manage earthmoving tasks such as grading, trenching, and site preparation with precision and safety. Transport materials using front loader trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker vehicles to support ongoing construction operations. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of farm machinery and other specialized vehicles on-site. Follow all safety protocols, document operational activities accurately, and report any equipment issues or hazards immediately. Skills Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues and perform routine maintenance on equipment. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience driving heavy trucks including dump trucks, front loader trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tankers. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and site protocols. Ability to read technical manuals and interpret construction plans effectively. Knowledge of construction materials like concrete and farm machinery enhances versatility on-site. Excellent communication skills to work seamlessly within a team environment.
