Full-Time Position Overview Durus Industrial is seeking skilled equipment operators capable of safely and efficiently operating light to mid-sized construction equipment in heavy industrial and infrastructure environments. This role supports multi-trade crews on large-scale projects, requiring operators who can perform in remote, high-production environments and contribute beyond just equipment operation. Core Responsibilities Operate light to mid-sized equipment including reach forklifts, track hoes, backhoes, mini excavators, skid steers, and water trucks Perform material handling, trenching, grading, backfilling, and site support activities Support crew operations with equipment positioning, lifting, and logistics Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance Assist with ground work when equipment is not in operation (labor support across trades) Maintain safe operation practices in congested and active jobsite environments Qualifications 3-5+ years of equipment operating experience in industrial or heavy civil environments Proven ability to operate multiple types of light equipment safely and efficiently Experience working around crews performing structural, concrete, or piping work Understanding of grade, trenching safety, and material handling practices Valid driver's license (CDL preferred for water truck operation) Ability to perform labor tasks as needed to support the crew Must have MSHA Work Environment & Expectations Travel required across AZ, NM, and surrounding regions Active work on remote project sites Extended work schedules aligned with long-duration projects (not short-term outage work) Work performed in remote environments Outdoor work in extreme conditions (heat, dust, terrain) Zero-tolerance safety culture—PPE and compliance required at all times Compensation Highly competitive pay based on experience and equipment proficiency Overtime opportunities tied to project demands Per diem for qualifying projects Benefits package available
