What You'll Do Operate heavy equipment supporting safe & efficient mining production Run haul trucks, water trucks, dozers, excavators, graders & loaders Support dewatering, material movement, stockpiles & surface maintenance Build & maintain haul roads, berms, ramps & site infrastructure Perform trenching, loading, road grading & reclamation support work Conduct pre-shift inspections & identify mechanical or safety concerns Complete minor maintenance & basic troubleshooting as needed Follow LOTOTO, Blue Stake, emergency response & safety procedures Communicate via radio & dispatch systems in active mine operations Assist with training & mentoring other equipment operators What We're Looking For 6 months-2 years heavy equipment operating experience (role dependent) Ability to safely operate mobile equipment in industrial or mining environments Strong commitment to safety, equipment care & teamwork Completion of required training & competency progression (LOP where applicable) Must pass written assessment covering safety & equipment knowledge Why Bagdad? Please describe your Motor Grader experience, including years of operation, equipment makes/models, and typical job duties or applications. Please describe your Rubber Tire Dozer experience, including years of operation, equipment makes/models, and typical job duties or applications. Have you operated any of the following equipment: haul trucks, dozers, graders, loaders, excavators or water trucks? Do you have experience following formal safety procedures such as LOTOTO, Blue Stake or similar lockout/tagout systems? Are you comfortable working in a 24/7 operation that includes rotating shifts, nights, weekends & holidays? Do you have experience working in surface mining, strip mining or large-scale earthmoving operations? Are you able to successfully complete a written assessment covering safety, equipment operation & job-related knowledge? Are you able to work in outdoor industrial environments with exposure to varying weather, dust & terrain conditions? Are you willing & able to complete required training, including equipment progression (LOP) requirements where applicable?
