Full Job Description Job Responsibilities:
Supervises a crew of up to 8 employees and prioritizes work. Preferred Heavy Equipment Operator.
Equipment list:
excavator, loader, blade, backhoe, dozer, skid, forklift, tractor, and CDL Reads and follows plans, material lists and guidelines and applies necessary timelines. Conducts regular tailgate safety meetings. Fulfills all regular and advanced installation/construction duties, including project layout, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner. Organizes, supervises, leads and trains employees to complete projects within established guidelines and time frames. Ensures project job site has all of its materials, permits, swpp, bonds, locates, equipment, and project schedules. Maintains / schedules equipment service and maintenance logs. Enforces all company and job site safety policies and procedures. Enforces all client-required safety policies and procedures. Complies with all company policies and procedures and safety requirements, including crewmember discipline and documentation. Submits crewmembers' timesheets to payroll by deadline. Attends company operation meetings as required. Other duties as assigned. Requirements 7+ years of experiences working as a heavy equipment operator, field engineer 3+ years of management experience
Valid Driver's License Physical Requirements:
Ability to handle physical labor and strenuous tasks. Able to stand and walk project site for extended period of times. Regularly talk and/or hear. Frequently required to use hands to finger, handle or feel. Occasionally required to but not limited to reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolds, stairs and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment. Must be able to position one-self to work in confined spaces such as trenches, pits, manholes, attics and tunnels. Must be able to lift and carry or otherwise move at least 50 pounds regularly/occasionally Must be able to respond quickly to sounds. Must be able to move safely over uneven terrain or in confined spaces. Must be able to see and respond to dangerous situations. Must be able to safely climb ladders while carrying up to 40 pounds. Must be able to wear personal protective gear most of the day. Must be able to work in hot and cold environments and on concrete floors. Physically fit and able to work at heights Willingness to work outdoors in harsh weather conditions Ensure the work area is clean and organized to improve efficiency and safety
