Overnight Hours:
40+ hours per week with overtime opportunities Job Description We are currently hiring a reliable and safety-focused Yard Hostler to join our team in Commerce, CA. This position is focused exclusively on yard operations and trailer movements within the facility. No CDL is required. We are seeking candidates with prior yard hostler experience who can work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Schedule 3rd Shift / Overnight 40+ hours per week Overtime available based on workload and operational needs Consistent full-time schedule Responsibilities Move trailers safely throughout the yard Spot trailers at designated dock doors Coordinate trailer movements with warehouse and shipping personnel Perform pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections Monitor yard organization and trailer inventory Follow company safety procedures and yard protocols Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and supervisors Maintain a clean and safe work environment Requirements Previous yard hostler experience required Ability to safely operate yard tractors and maneuver trailers in tight spaces Strong safety record and attention to detail Ability to work overnight/3rd shift schedules Ability to work 40+ hours per week, including overtime as needed Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented No CDL required Benefits Competitive hourly pay Overtime opportunities Consistent full-time schedule Home daily Supportive team environment Apply Today If you have yard hostler experience and are looking for a stable full-time overnight position with consistent hours and overtime opportunities, we'd like to hear from you.
