Pitch Clock Operator The Pitch Clock Operator plays a key role in game day operations by managing the pitch timer during all home games, ensuring compliance with league pace-of-play rules. This position works closely with umpires, official scorers, and Baseball Operations staff to support a smooth, consistent game flow. It's an ideal opportunity for detail-oriented candidates looking to gain hands-on experience in baseball operations and gameday compliance.

What You'll Do:

Operate and manage the pitch clock in real time during all home games in accordance with PBL rules Set up, test, and break down timing equipment before and after each game Monitor gameplay closely to ensure accurate timing resets and identify any violations Communicate effectively with umpires, official scorers, and game staff to ensure proper implementation of pitch clock rules Troubleshoot technical issues quickly to minimize disruptions during live play Support Baseball Operations staff with additional game day duties as needed What You Bring Strong knowledge of baseball rules, gameplay, and pace of play High attention to detail with the ability to track live game action accurately Availability for all home games, including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to work in a fast-paced, live-game environment with strong communication and problem-solving skills
