This role is ideal for seasoned Heavy Equipment Operators from construction, oil & gas, logging, crane operations, or military motor transport backgrounds who take pride in precision work and safety excellence. Operate specialized transport equipment including SPMTs, Rail King, Scheuerle Transporters, Econo‑Lift, and Track Mobile. Load and unload rail car shells and support water testing of car shells and completed rail vehicles. Prepare rail vehicles for shipment by staging flat cars, loading vehicles onto trailers, and securing loads using approved tie‑down methods. Perform vehicle and rigging inspections, ensuring proper load leveling and center‑of‑gravity control. Install bolsters, bogies, or dollies on rail vehicles as required. Operate forklifts to support facility operations and material movement. Drive a five‑ton truck for local material transport. Unload rail car shells using lifting jacks, forklifts, and related equipment. Follow all safety policies, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and Risk Control Measures—safety is always the top priority. For your safety, we require: High school diploma/GED. Experience as a Heavy Equipment Operator in industries such as construction, drilling rig, oil or gas, logging, crane operations, or military motor T operations. Extensive knowledge of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operations. Ability to work effectively in outdoor environments and adverse weather conditions.
