Heavy Equipment Operator

Blue View Builder is a growing modular construction company specializing in cold-form steel homes. Our mission is to is to make construction affordable by combining modular components, site-built construction, computer aided construction, and green initiatives. We are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team and support our projects across California and beyond. Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment including skid steer, excavator, and telehandler safely and efficiently. Perform site preparation, excavation, material handling, and related tasks. Travel overnight to job sites as required (lodging provided, per diem for meals, mileage reimbursement if personal vehicle is used). Support foreman and crew in transporting equipment and materials to job sites.

If CDL licensed:

drive company vehicles out of state to pick up materials. Maintain equipment in good working order and follow safety protocols. Collaborate with site teams to ensure projects are completed on schedule and to quality standards. Requirements Minimum 3 years of verifiable experience operating heavy equipment. Experience with skid steer, excavator, and telehandler required. CDL license strongly preferred; 3+ years CDL driving experience is a plus. Willingness to travel overnight (home on weekends). Ability to work in varying environments (Bay Area, Los Angeles, Big Bear, Central Valley, and initially San Diego County). Strong commitment to safety and teamwork. Compensation & Benefits Competitive pay based on experience. Per diem for meals at GSA rates. Lodging provided (typically AirBnB shared crew housing). Pay:

$24.00 - $31.00 per hour
