Heavy Equipment Operator/Bobcat operators

FULL TIME HEAVY EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

We are a local company specialized in demolition, earthwork & abatement and we have an immediate opening for a heavy equipment operator. Individual will maintain a safe working environment in compliance with all regulations and company policies. We are looking for bobcat operators that are experienced in demolition. Responsibilities Experience in demo, construction Operate equipment in safe & efficient manner. Perform daily equipment inspection & maintenance including greasing & lubricating Maintain safe working conditions Perform any other tasks as instructed by supervisor Qualifications/ Requirements Accepting Graduated Apprentices Highly desirable 3-5 years of experience working on a Finish Dozer / Scraper / Skiploader / Excavator / Wheel Loader / Bobcat experience with grade checking / laser / GPS Must have a valid drivers license Mechanical knowledge & skills are a plus high school diploma or equivalent Bilingual(English/Spanish) is a plus. Graduate of an apprenticeship program is highly desirable Physical Demands Job requires sitting, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, crouching, kneeling, crawling, reaching, stretching, and lifting. Use of hands and fingers to handle, feel, grip, twist Close and distant vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus Hearing Work Environment Exposure to outside weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain Exposure to exhaust fumes and airborne particles Exposure to moving mechanical parts Exposure to equipment noise at varying levels
