In this vital role, you will operate specialized tow trucks to safely transport vehicles, assist stranded motorists, and support our fleet management efforts. Your expertise in towing, and customer service will ensure efficient and professional service. Responsibilities Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; commercial Class A driver's license (CDL) is highly desirable. Pass a background check for Law Enforcement tows Certified in light duty training TIM's Certified ( we can help you get certified) Able to pass of drug test Operate tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles safely and efficiently. Load and unload vehicles carefully, ensuring proper securing techniques to prevent damage during transit. Assist customers with roadside emergencies, providing excellent customer service while managing conflict or stressful situations professionally. Use manual transmissions and commercial driving skills to navigate various terrains and traffic conditions responsibly. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, including load details, destinations, and time records. Proven experience operating tow trucks, particularly flatbed models, with a strong understanding of automotive repair and diagnostics. Ability to load & unload vehicles securely using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or other lifting devices when necessary. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts calmly and professionally. Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform manual tasks consistently throughout shifts.
