Signal Hill, CA Job Details Temporary | Part-time | Full-time | Contract $35 - $40 an hour 7 hours ago Qualifications Excavator Hazardous Waste Operations & Emergency Response Training Outdoor work Excavation Driver's License Loader operation Skid steer loader Construction workplace safety regulations Safety protocol implementation Full Job Description Overview OFRS is an environmental construction company and we are looking for a highly skilled and experienced heavy equipment operator to fulfill our need for multiple upcoming remediation projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate backhoes, excavators, loaders, and skid steers safely and efficiently. Perform site preparation, excavations, and material handling. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance. Read and interpret site plans, drawings, and specifications. Work closely with crew members to ensure timely project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with OSHA regulations.
Requirements:
Proven experience operating backhoes, excavators, and loaders. Valid heavy equipment operator certification (if applicable). Strong knowledge of safety protocols and construction site operations. Ability to work in various weather conditions and on challenging terrain. Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Pay:
$35.00 - $40.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
