About Us:
LaRosa Construction Co., Inc. is a leading construction contractor specializing in complete site development, underground utilities, box culverts, bridge work, paving and parking lot rehabilitation, concrete work, etc. We pride ourselves on delivering quality projects safely, on time, and within budget.Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced equipment operator who can operate various types of heavy equipment with precision, while maintaining a strong focus on safety, productivity, and teamwork.Operate heavy equipment:
excavators, dozers, loaders, skid steers, graders and other construction machinery. Read and interpret grade stakes, plans, and GPS equipment when applicable. Perform site grading, trenching, excavation, backfilling, and material handling. Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance checks. Ensure OSHA compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Work closely with supervisors, laborers, and truck drivers to complete projects efficiently. Maintain clean and organized job sites. Assist with other construction related duties as needed.Qualifications:
Prior experience operating heavy construction equipment required. Experience with site work, utilities, grading, and excavation preferred. Proficiency with Topcon GPS systems for grading and layout is a plus. Strong knowledge of grading, site layout, and heavy equipment operations. Valid driver's license required. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor when necessary. OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 Certification.Benefits:
