Job Description

Job Summary Salary/Pay Rate:
(Based on experience) plus Year-End Bonus.
Location:
CT.
Job/Employment Type:
Full-Time.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday. (some saturdays if needed)
Project Scope:
Civil Construction / Utilities / Sitework.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications:
OSHA 10 Certification (or willingness to obtain). Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and other machinery to perform tasks efficiently and safely. Manage the operation of construction vehicles including front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks. Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, material handling, and transportation of construction materials like concrete mixers and farm machinery. Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance needs promptly. Follow safety protocols diligently and participate in safety meetings to uphold a secure work environment. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project deadlines are met effectively. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, inspections, and operational logs. Requirements Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active sites. Mechanical knowledge of machinery such as Caterpillar equipment and other major brands. Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and protocols. Ability to perform physical tasks in various weather conditions and lift heavy materials when necessary. Knowledge of construction materials and processes related to concrete mixers, farm machinery, and tanker operations is a plus. Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment. $26.16 - $32.00 per hour
