Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and be at the forefront of construction excellence! In this vital role, you will operate a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring safety, efficiency, and precision on-site. Your expertise will help bring complex projects to life, contributing to infrastructure development and site preparation. We are looking for motivated individuals with a passion for heavy equipment operation and a keen eye for detail to deliver outstanding results every day. Duties Knowledge, setting box culverts and box structures is a plus this is underground job working in the roadway and edge of roadway. Any experience with these is a major help to keep the flow of job going and keeping everyone safe safely operate a range of heavy machinery including loaders, backhoes, excavators, skid steer and other construction equipment to perform site grading, excavation, lifting, and material handling. Conduct routine inspections of equipment before and after use to ensure optimal functioning and safety compliance. Follow all safety protocols and construction standards while maintaining productivity on busy construction sites. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks effectively, ensuring project timelines are met without compromising safety or quality. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, maintenance needs, and operational activities for accountability and reporting purposes.

Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, and related machinery. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic issues and perform routine maintenance. Construction site experience demonstrating familiarity with safety procedures and project workflows. Knowledge of construction materials and processes including concrete mixing and farm machinery operation is a plus. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and quality standards. $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
