Land Clearing Excavator Operator

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in land clearing operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, excellent equipment handling skills, and a commitment to safety and efficiency. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating machinery to clear land for various construction and development projects. Full time position utilizing company provided truck, trailer and John Deere 60P excavator and 325G Skidsteer to clear lots and do all grade work in preparation for construction. Must be able to dispose of debris whether by unloading in dump trailer or burning on site. Must have prior knowledge or experience felling trees using chainsaw. A minimum of 1 year prior experience in a role with similar responsibilities is required. Must have reliable transportation to shop everyday. Must have experience driving truck with 24' Gooseneck trailers. Must be able to load and unload equipment, attachments and other materials on trailers. A Class A CDL and clean driving record is required for this position. A background check will be performed to verify. Must be able to read a site plan and layout structure corners and elevations using tape measure and laser level. Must be physically capable of working outside and lifting 45 lbs. Must be willing to use shovel, rake, chainsaw, among other items. Perform pre-operational checks and daily maintenance on equipment, including daily greasing. Mechanical knowledge to diagnose and/or fix issues that occur.
