Job Description

Golf Course Equipment Operator 400 Entrada Drive, Hollywood, FL 33021 From $16 an hour - Full-time From $16 an hour - Full-time Starting rate is $16.00 pher hour (more depending on experience)
GENERAL DUTIES
Operates all types of motorized equipment and trucks used on the golf course. Responsible for greens mowing, tee mowing, trap raking, fairway mowing, rough mowing and changing cups and tees, (see attached job detail). Maintains, lubricates and makes minor adjustment to equipment. Adheres to all safety guidelines when operating equipment or working with small tools. Obeys all employee rules and regulations including course etiquette guidelines. Performs any manual labor necessary to fulfill job assignment at the direction of the superintendent.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Ability to operate heavy and light equipment. Ability to follow detailed instructions, both oral and written. Ability to work in inclement weather or extreme heat. Agile and able to lift over 60 pounds.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS A
high school graduate or equivalent that possesses a valid Florida Drivers License. This person must have the ability to communicate with supervisors and possess the physical strength, agility and freedom from disabling defects to do heavy manual labor for extended periods of time.
