This is an exciting opportunity to join our family owned and operated team. This is a hourly based position that offers many benefits beyond the line of work. Bonus and pay increases are performance based.Duties:
- Assisting in the following
- Install pilings
- Operate lite machinery
- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood.
- Install structures and fixtures such as seawalls, docks, and boat lifts.
- Ensure that all work meets the required quality standards and complies with building codes.
- Must provide your own tool belt, with the following: Tape measure, speed square, speedo level, impact drill, and compact cordless drill, bits for applying fasteners, hammer, cats claw, string, and chalk line.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in carpentry or a related field.
- Proficient in using carpentry tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of different types of wood and other construction materials.
- Familiarity with construction safety guidelines and procedures.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Note:
Experience in dock, seawall, and metal working is a plus. This is a great opportunity for individuals with carpentry experience who are looking for a challenging role in the construction industry.
