In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading and transporting materials using a variety of heavy machinery to ensure smooth construction site operations. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience will help maintain safety standards while supporting the timely completion of projects. Duties Operate loaders, excavators, dozers, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, horizontal drilling equipment, tankers, and paving machinery with precision and safety. Load materials onto trucks and transport them across the construction site or to designated locations. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on heavy equipment to ensure optimal performance. Assist with site preparation activities by moving earth, gravel, and other materials as needed. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure work environment for yourself and team members. Coordinate with supervisors and other operators to schedule equipment use efficiently. Support other construction activities by operating specialized machinery like horizontal drills or paving machines when required. Qualifications Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, backhoes, water trucks, dump trucks, or similar machinery. Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot equipment issues. Knowledge of safety standards related to heavy equipment operation and construction environments. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety and efficiency. Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and supervisors.
