Job Description

Heavy Equipment Operator - Bucket Loader We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to operate bucket loaders and related heavy machinery in support of our Ready-Mix division. The ideal candidate will have experience operating front-end loaders/bucket loaders efficiently while maintaining a strong commitment to workplace safety, equipment care, and productivity. Key Responsibilities Operate bucket loaders/front-end loaders to move aggregate. Load trucks, hoppers, conveyors, and other equipment safely and efficiently. Perform daily pre-operation and post-operation equipment inspections. Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance or repair needs promptly. Maintain safe operating procedures around workers, vehicles, and utilities. Assist with site cleanup, grading, and material stockpiling. Adhere to all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety regulations. Maintain accurate equipment logs and inspection records. Work collaboratively with laborers, truck drivers, and supervisors. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience operating bucket loaders or similar heavy equipment. Knowledge of heavy equipment safety standards and operating procedures. Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and inspections. Ability to work in varying weather and site conditions. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Physically capable of climbing, lifting, bending, and sitting for extended periods. Preferred Skills OSHA certification or heavy equipment operator certification. Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability. Work Environment Outdoor construction. Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and changing weather conditions. Required overtime and Saturdays. Pay:
$21.00 - $23.00 per hour
