Job Responsibilities Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, skid loaders and the like to perform various construction tasks. Dig trenches know how to keep grade and communicate with ground guys to effectively complete projects. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure project timelines are met. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times. Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors immediately. Maintain accurate records of equipment usage and maintenance activities. Requirements Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with backhoes, bulldozers, excavators, skid loaders and the like. Familiarity with construction site operations and safety regulations. Ability to perform physical tasks associated with operating heavy machinery, including lifting and digging. Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices. Valid driver's license ; certification in heavy equipment operation is preferred but not mandatory.
