Joel Sikkema, 207 Central Ave SE, Orange City, IA 51041 Job Summary Join the Sioux County Roads Department as a Full-Time Equipment Operator to perform a wide range of road maintenance and repair work as part of the Sioux Center Shop crew. Responsibilities Build effective working relationships Operate and maintain heavy equipment and trucks (Class A CDL is required) Haul gravel to stockpiles and roads Plow snow on paved and gravel roads Perform ditch cleaning and grading projects Service equipment and support shop operations Qualifications Maintaining a valid Iowa Class A Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and proof of insurance Passing a pre-employment health assessment, background check, and driving history check Pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing is required for this position Competitive wages, IPERS pension plan, affordable health insurance with low deductible, employer-paid life and accident insurance, access to dental and vision insurance, and additional voluntary benefits.

$27.53 - $33.40 per hour
