Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavator) Underground Utilities

Build infrastructure that matters. We're looking for a dependable Heavy Equipment Operator (Excavator) to join our crew working on underground utilities, water/wastewater, and civil construction projects. This is steady, long-term work with a team that values accountability, quality, and doing things right. What You'll Be Doing Operate excavators for trenching, digging, grading, and utility installation Excavate for storm, sewer, water, and conduit systems Work around trench boxes, shoring systems, and existing utilities Load trucks, manage materials, and keep site operations moving efficiently Support pipe crews and coordinate with ground personnel Perform fine grading and work in tight or restricted spaces What We're Looking For Proven experience operating excavators in utility or heavy civil work Strong understanding of trench safety and excavation practices Ability to read plans and work to grade Dependable, shows up consistently, and takes ownership of work Works well with a crew and communicates clearly on site Nice to Have (not required) Experience with shoring systems (trench boxes, slide rail, etc.) OSHA 10/30, CPR/First Aid Rigging or signaling experience What You Can Expect Consistent, long-term work Straightforward, no-drama crew Opportunity to grow with the company Projects that actually matter (infrastructure, utilities) Pay & Details $28 - $54/hour (based on experience) Full-time In-person work Apply Send your resume and a short note on your experience and work style.
