In this energetic role, you will operate light-duty tow trucks to safely transport vehicles, assist stranded motorists, and support automotive recovery operations. Your mechanical aptitude, customer service skills, and safety-conscious mindset will drive your success in delivering prompt, reliable service while maintaining high standards of professionalism. This position offers an engaging work environment where your skills in automotive diagnostics, mechanical repair, and driving will be put to great use every day. Responsibilities Safely operate light-duty tow trucks, including flatbed models, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently. Load and unload vehicles with precision using appropriate equipment such as forklifts or winches. Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery approach. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and addressing concerns professionally. Manage conflict situations calmly and effectively to ensure positive interactions with customers and colleagues. Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws while driving and performing recovery tasks to ensure safety for yourself and others. Maintain accurate logs of all recoveries, loads, unloads, and vehicle details for record-keeping purposes. Qualifications Valid driver's license with commercial driving experience preferred; must have a clean driving record. Proven experience operating tow trucks, flatbeds, or similar commercial vehicles. Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair or diagnostics. Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive systems is highly desirable. Ability to load, unload, and secure vehicles safely using appropriate tools and equipment. Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict professionally.
