Job Description

Loader operators in excavation are expected to perform a variety of tasks that require a high level of situational awareness and adaptability, including carrying pipe and materials via the Loader. Here are some of the key expectations for loader operators in the excavation industry:
Safe Operation :
Operators must operate heavy machinery safely, ensuring the equipment is in good working order and adhering to safety protocols. •
Communication :
Effective communication with site supervisors, truck drivers, and other ground personnel is essential to coordinate the movement of materials and maintain a safe work environment. •
Equipment Maintenance :
Operators are responsible for daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment, including fluid levels, tire pressure, and hydraulic hose integrity. •
Physical Demands :
The work environment is typically outdoors in all weather conditions, exposing employees to high levels of noise, grease, and dust. Operators must be able to perform physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs. These expectations highlight the importance of a loader operator's skills, knowledge, and commitment to safety and efficiency in the excavation industry. Must have reliable transportation. Must pass a Drug Screen.
